SIX DIE IN KATSINA ROAD ACCIDENT.
Six persons have lost their lives while five others sustained injuries in a road accident that took place on Thursday night along the Daura-Kano Road in Kastina State.
The accident, which involved a Volkswagen Golf car and a Peugeot J5 van, occured at Chadi Village in Sandamu Local Government Area of the state.
The incident was confirmed by the State Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Ali Tanimu.
Tanimu said the accident occured about 9pm on Thursday, stating that the two vehicles suffered a head-on collision.
Eyewitness said the remains of the victims have been taken to the General Hospital Morgue in Daura where those who sustained injuries were being attended to.
