Supreme Court Affirms Muhammad Matawalle as Governor of Zamfara State, discards APC Application.
The Application From the All Progressive Congress seeking to reexamine the final verdict of the Zamfara Gubernatorial Elections has been discarded by the Supreme Court Of Nigeria.
The court said "it was a gross abuse of court, frivolous and grossly vexacious". They charged the APC 2 million naira fine.
The Court had earlier cancelled out the judgement declaring APC's victory at all levels. Sequel to this, the PDP candidate, Bello Muhammed Matawalle was affirmed the winner and sworn in as Governor of Zamfara State.
