SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS ABDUCT TRACE OFFICIAL IN OGUN STATE
Yet-to-be-identified gunmen have kidnapped an official of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps, Popoola Olasupo, at about 0630hrs on 16th April 2023 Eledumare-Fidiwo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The information available indicates that Mr. Olasupo was on his way to his duty post alongside one other member of the traffic corps when the kidnappers struck.

Consequently, the kidnappers suddenly emerged from the bush along the highway, opened fire on a commercial bus that the TRACE officer was and forcefully whisked him away.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Command Operatives and local vigilantes are combing the forest to nab the suspected kidnappers and to rescue the victim unhurt.
