TANZANIA PRESIDENT JOHN MAGUFULI IS DEAD
Tanzania's President John Magufuli has died.
The East African President died on Wednesday from heart complications at a Dar es Salaam hospital, Samia Suluhu Hassan Tanzania's vice president said.
President Magufuli was last seen in public on February 27 and opposition politicians kept insinuating that the East African leader who was a prominent Coronavirus sceptic, had contracted COVID-19.
According to the Tanzanian constitution, Vice President Hassan 61, will be sworn in as the new president, making her the first female, and sixth President of Tanzania.

To honour the passing of the Late Magufuli, citizens of Tanzania would observe 14 days of mourning and flags would fly at half-mast.
