TENSION AS HOODLUMS ATTACK POLICE STATION IN ILE EWE AREA OF LAGOS STATE
Hoodlums have stormed Ile-Iwe Police Station at Command bus stop axis of Lagos State, over the death of a tricycle rider who was allegedly shot by a Police officer.
Eons Intelligence earlier reported that one person was shot dead following a clash between tricycle riders and security operatives at Ile ewe area, Lagos State.
Sources disclose that the policeman allegedly shot dead the tricycle rider because he refused to give him N100 bribe.
This caused palpable tension in the area as hoodlums mounted a road blockade to protest the alleged killing of the tricyclist.
However, as of the time of filing this report, calm and normalcy have been restored to the area but a recurrence of the incident cannot be ruled out.
