COVID-19: ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED HEADS DONATES N1M TO LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT.
Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries of Lagos State (ALARHOSPS) on Monday lauded the steps taken by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to contain COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement by President of the association Alhaj M A A Olagbaye, the group said the governor satisfactorily managed the pandemic, and that it was not a surprise the government was widely commended by local and international observers.
According to Olagbaye, "ALARHOSPS notes with satisfaction the prompt and decisive steps being taken by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s administration in the containment of the pandemic in Lagos State.”
Olagbaye said the group donated N1 million to the fund created to wage war on COVID-19, adding that members were also on hand to support distribution of foodstuff to the needy
