Terror on Obajana Road: All Passengers Kidnapped from Lagos-Abuja Bus, N100m Ransom Demanded
Gunmen attacked a GIGMobility bus on Saturday near Obajana in Kogi State, abducting all passengers while the driver narrowly escaped.
The bus, traveling from Lagos to Abuja, was ambushed along the Obajana-Lokoja route. Witnesses reported shattered windscreens at the scene, indicating a violent confrontation.
One X user revealed that her friend, who had attended a convocation in Benin Republic, was among those abducted. According to her, the kidnappers are demanding a N100 million ransom for her release.
"Please, I need your help," she pleaded. "The kidnappers are demanding N100 million. No amount is too small to assist."
A witness on X claimed to have driven past the scene shortly after the attack. "I saw the bus after Dangote refinery at Obajana. Only the driver was left. I was lucky to escape because my car overheated earlier," he recounted.
