LAGOS ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC DIVERSION AT PEN CINEMA
The Lagos State Government has announced that there would be a traffic diversion of vehicular movement around Agege Pen Cinema Flyover from 11 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, to Thursday, June 25, 2020.
The diversion is to enable road construction workers to launch beams across Iju Road at the Pen Cinema junction, the Lagos State government explains in a press release.
Road users are therefore advised to use the following alternative routes as provided by the government:
“Motorists coming from Fagba end of Iju Road will be diverted through Ifako General Hospital Road or Oyemekun Road to connect College Road inward Ogba.
Motorists coming from Odejobi Road going to Moslasi Alhaja will make a detour to link Ijaye Housing Estate access inward Oba Ogunji Road.

Iju bound motorists coming from Mosalasi Alhaja will be diverted through IIaye road inward Ogba or Oba Ogunji Road.”
The Honorable Commissioner for Transportation, Authority Dr. Fredrick Oladeinde assured members of the public that the Lagos State Transport Management Authority LASTMA personnel would be on the ground to direct traffic and show alternative routes while appealing to road users to drive cautiously.
