NAF UNDER OPERATION HADARIN DAJI STORM BANDITS’ ENCLAVE IN ZAMFARA, NEUTRALIZE NOTORIOUS BANDITS' LEADERS ALH. AUTA, KACHALLA RUGA, SEVERAL OTHERS

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under Operation Hadarin Daji invaded enclaves of two key bandits' leaders situated within Gusami Forest and West Tsamre Village in Birnin Magaji Local Government Area in Zamfara State, killing notorious bandits' leaders Alhaji Auta, Kachalla Ruga and several other terror-bandits.



Following credible intelligence, Troops tactically deployed Nigerian Air force (NAF) aircraft to the scene, overwhelming the recalcitrant bandits with superior fire, neutralizing several bandits in the process.


Troops deployed a follow-up combination of air interdiction and ground offensive attack to bombard the over 100 bandits on 40 motorcycles who met at dawn at Alhaji Auta's residence for his burial process, killing several terror bandits in the process.


Sources confirm that the terrorists recorded heavy casualties, with many scampering for safety under trees within the area.

Presently, the state and whereabouts state of other notorious bandits’ leaders in the person of Alhaji Nashama, Shingi and Halilu remain sketchy, whether alive or on the run.  



According to locals, the continued intensity of such precise air interdiction and ground offensives will go a long way towards affirming the commitment and dedication of the military and other security agencies towards exterminating the threat and activities of bandits' as soon as possible


The locals further agreed to work in alliance with security operatives in providing credible information as an effective way of tackling the menace of banditry.
