TWO DIE, AMOTEKUN OFFICE SET ABLAZE IN OYO COMMUNAL CLASH

Reports indicate that two persons were killed in a communal clash between residents of Ago-Are and Tede areas of Oyo State

Eons Intelligence gathered that residents of both communities have engaged themselves in a communal clash since Friday which resulted in the Amotekun office in the area and a police vehicle being set ablaze.

Sources say the clash erupted as a result of the relocation of a cow market from Tede to Ago Are.

However, calm has been restored to the area and the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, has assured residents of their safety.

She made this known after leading the Federal Government delegation to Igangan, where the house of Seriki Fulani was burnt on Friday.

This comes after notable Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, alleged that the killings and kidnappings in the area were perpetrated by the Fulani herdsmen in the community.
