UNKNOWN GUNMEN ATTACK COMMUNITY IN EBONYI
Unknown Gunmen attacked residents of Okpochiri village in Ukwagba Ngbo Community, Ohaukwu Local Government area of Ebonyi State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that two villagers were killed during the attack.
Several villagers while attempting to escape the attack have been declared missing, just as the attackers destroyed the farm lands of the community.
The Town Union President of Ukwagba, Hon. Eze Moses said that he suspects the Ezza-Benue people and that they were the ones responsible for the killing and destruction.

He said, “I Am having a brief meeting with elders of the community. What happened is not a good thing. The State Government should mount security there. If possible, the National Boundary Commission, NBC should come in and begin boundary demarcation.”
“This recent killing, we are suspecting Ezza people. We don’t have issues with them. The invaders came from their village and also went back through their road. They call themselves Ezza Benue. We have village vigilante group”.
The identities of those murdered in cold blood are: Friday Omogo Ugadu and Amos Ogabo.
“There are many casualties, some are still missing and our farms lands were also destroyed by the hoodlums, ” he added.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer of Ebonyi State Police Command, DSP Loveth Odah, when contacted by Journalists said that she hasn’t been briefed, she however, promised to call the DPO of the affected area.
