COVID-19 SITUATION REPORT
284 new cases of Coronavirus discovered in Nigeria today; Total infections now 6677.
Lagos remains the hub and focal point for the virus with a total of 2954 cases discovered. 199 infected persons were discovered today.
Rivers recorded 26 new cases, total of 79 infections discovered in the state so far.
1840 patients have been discharged across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
200 people have died from the Coronavirus in Nigeria, as at today, May 20th, according to the NCDC.
Oyo records additional 19 cases today, total infections in the state now 162, making them the third epicenter of the Coronavirus pandemic in the south west; behind Lagos and Ogun.
Borno's Coronavirus cases are increasing slightly everyday. 8 infections were discovered today, total infections now 235, making the state the 5th state with the highest number of cases in Nigeria.
Delta recorded a death today, a 78 years old man, died at the Warri Central hospital, Delta State.
Anambra and Benue has the fewest number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria with 5 each.
Taraba, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Bayelsa, Benuee, and Anambra hasn't recorded any COVID-19 death as at today.
