GUNMEN INVADE GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL IN KATSINA, KIDNAP SEVERAL STUDENTS
Reports indicate that unknown gunmen on Friday, December 11, invaded Government Science Secondary School in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, and kidnapped several students.
This attack comes 48 hours after armed men kidnapped a village head and 20 other civilians in Gamji village, Sabuwal Local Government Area of Katsina State.
It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the school around 11am and carried out the attack for over two hours.

Reports say several students and residents of the town were declared missing after the raid.
“As I speak to you now, no one can tell you the exact number of the students that were abducted and in the custody of the armed men.
“They (gunmen) shot our colleague and the gateman too but they are all alive receiving treatment now,” a policeman who didn't want his identity disclosed told newsmen.
As of the time of compiling this report, the number of students abducted cannot be ascertained.

This incident has prompted the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, to shutdown all boarding schools in the State.
Recall that on Wednesday, December 9, Eons Intelligence reported that gunmen stormed a private secondary school in Delta State and abducted three teachers.
