UPDATE: OYO STATE POLICE RE-ARRESTS IBADAN SERIAL KILLER
Oyo State Police Command has rearrested Sunday Shodipe, the serial Killer in Ibadan.
Recall that Shodipe escaped from Police custody on August 11th, 2020.
Oyo State Police spokesperson, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the development.
He said the details of the re-arrest would be made available shortly.
He confirmed the fugitive has been kept in a safe custody.
Eons Intelligence had earlier reported that Nigeria's Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, had deployed special forces to complement the police command in Oyo State after Shodipe escaped from custody.
Also, Oyo Commissioner of Police, Chuks Enwonwu, had placed a bounty of N500,000 on the fugitive.
