BREAKING: ASUU SUSPENDS STRIKE
The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) has called off its 9-month old strike.
Biodun Ogunyemi, the union's National President made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja.
ASUU began industrial action in March to protest the decay in Nigeria’s tertiary institution and call for better remuneration for university lecturers.
