BREAKING: GUNMEN KIDNAP COMMUNITY HEAD IN DELTA
Unknown gunmen have abducted Henry Gomeromo, CDC chairman, Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi local government area of Delta state.
According to eyewitness, the armed men invaded the GRA axis of the town around 3 am on Wednesday, January 6 and whisked the community head away.
“They struck the area around 3 am with shootings and whisked the community chairman away through Olomubou, the site of the seemingly abandoned Bomadi Polytechnic project, which has different bush paths.

“Those bush paths lead to other neighbouring communities in Burutu local government area of the state” he said.
Confirming the incident the community secretary, Dennis Alade said that an emergency meeting has been organized over the abduction.
Series of abduction cases have been reported in Delta State recently amid rising security threats in Nigeria.

Three teachers in Ohorhe Secondary school, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State were kidnapped by gunmen in Army camouflage on December 8, 2020.
Similarly, a former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Warri, Delta State earlier in November, 2020.
