270 INDIAN CITIZENS EVACUATED FROM NIGERIA
About 270 Indian citizens have been evacuated from Nigeria.
The Indian citizens were evacuated from the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, yesterday night and are expected to arrive New Delhi this evening.
This was confirmed by the Indian High Commission in Abuja via its official twitter handle.
The Commission stated that the evacuees were workers of Dangote Group.
This is the second evacuation flight operated by a Nigerian airline, Air Peace.
Recall that Air Peace evacuated 312 Indian citizens from the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on Sunday.
