SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS: FG HAS NOT DONE ENOUGH TO END THE VIOLENCE - CAN
Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State chapter, Joseph Hayab, has accused the Federal Government of not doing enough to stop the killings in Southern Kaduna.
Recall that in the past two months, there has been unprecedented violence that has claimed over 70 lives in the region.
He alleged that the Government has turned dear ears to the cries of the people.
The CAN Chairman made this known during an indoor protest organised by the association on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020.

He said the Presidency should stop speaking for the bandits that are out to wipe out the people of Southern Kaduna.
Hayab revealed that the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigeria Police Force has made security so cheap under the current political administration.
CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA DECLARE FASTING OVER KADUNA KILLINGS
To put an end to the incessant violence and killings in the State, the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna chapter has declared a month-long prayer and fasting to seek God’s intervention.
“So, we said since we don’t have anybody to speak for us, we called on Christians, declaring a whole month (August) every Sunday like this, we meet and speak to ourselves and expressed our grievances to the entire world,” Joseph Hayab said.
“We are all simply saying, stop the killings. We don’t want any thing or favour from them. The constitution of the country said government should protect us but we seemed not to be protected."
Hayab added that if the Government wakes up to its responsibility of protecting the citizens and chase out the killers, there will be peace in southern Kaduna.
