GUNMEN ABDUCT JOURNALIST, TWO CHILDREN FROM THEIR HOMES IN ABUJA
Gunmen on Wednesday abducted a journalist and two sons of a widow from their homes in the Arab Road area of Kubwa, Abuja.
Eons Intelligence gathered that at about 11 pm, 5 men scaled the fence into the home of a journalist identified as Okechukwu Nnodim who reports for Punch.
The wife, Oluchi said her husband made her and the children hide in a room while the assailants fired several shots at the windows and successfully pulled down the burglar-proof.
“My husband asked me to stay with the children in their room. I heard the men asking him to bring out money but he told them he didn’t have money in the house.

“They took our phones and marched him out of the house. They went to our neighbour’s house and also abducted her two sons,” she told the Punch.
Narrating her ordeal, Mrs Faith Gbeyide whose two sons were kidnapped said the criminals took the N9,000 in her purse and went with her two sons named Victor and Gbenga.
