ARMY IMPERSONATOR ARRAIGN FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN EDO STATE
A 35-year-old man identified as Kilo Ken, also known, as Kingsley Egharevba, has been arraigned by the Benin Zonal Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for allegedly impersonating a Nigeria Army officer.
The suspect was arraigned on a two-count charge of purposefully aiding international travel for a victim to work as prostitute in Libya through an agent identified as Nifemi Afolabi (Female)a.k.a Halima, now at large.

NAPTIP counsel Mrs Oburoh Victoria Okanigbuan disclosed to the court that the suspect perpetrated the offence in Benin City in October 2019.
Consequently, the suspect pleaded not guilty to the offences.
Justice A.A Adewemimo ordered that the suspect continue with the administrative bail pending when the application for his bail is formally filed before the court while the case has been adjourned till 15th June 2023,
