BREAKING: BOKO HARAM/ ISWAP SEIZE 11 GOLF CARS IN BORNO
Boko Haram/ ISWAP fighters have seized 11 Gulf cars in an ambush around Ja'alta, a position where soldiers were recently attacked. The insurgents forced the motorists to hand their vehicles over to them or get killed. They also said that whoever was interested to follow them should go with them. Only one driver agreed to follow them.
Sources said this was the first time the militants would seize vehicles of commercial motorists. In the past, they usually asked the drivers to convey goods from one point to another or forced them to pay a certain amount of money.
Also, at about 11:00 am, the insurgents staged an ambush around Maula village, located between Ngala and Dikwa LGA with six guntrucks and 9 motorcycles. It is likely that they attacked the people who participated in the LGA election in Gamborun Ngala, that returned through the road.
