BREAKING: TROOPS REPEL BOKO HARAM ATTACKS IN NGOWUM, BORNO

Nigeria Army on Wednesday, July 1 repelled attacks by Boko Haram terrorists in Ngowum town at the Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State. 


According to sources, the insurgents attempted to ambush the soldiers at about 10 pm. 

However, they were forced to retreat due to the troops’ superior firepower. 


In related news, troops of the Nigerian Army successfully repelled an attack by Boko Haram members at the outskirt of Madagali town in Adamawa state. 


Sources say insurgents had tried to ambush the soldiers at their base at about 9 pm on Wednesday, July 1 but the gallant troops’ were alert and engaged the insurgents in about an hour-long battle after which the insurgents were forced to flee.
