COVID 19: NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY POSTPONES SELECTION EXERCISE FOR REGULAR COURSE EIGHTH
The Nigeria Police Academy has postponed the selection exercise for Regular Course Eight (RCS) citing COVID 19 concerns.
The selection exercise which was earlier slated for January 9, 2021 has been indefinitely postponed due to the outbreak of the second wave of COVID - 19 pandemic, The Commandant, Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Zanna M. Ibrahim, mini said.
AIG Ibrahim said a new date would be announced as soon as the COVID- 19 situation improves in the country.
In a statement released on Wednesday, December 30, the Police Academy said it decided to postpone the selection exercise following "due consultations with critical stakeholders, especially the NCDC, and in consideration of the safety of cadets who are presently in full session".
The Academy, however, reiterates that the list of shortlisted candidates remains unaltered, warning members of the public to be wary of opportunists and scammers who may want to work on the desperate tendencies of applicants to lure them into parting with their hard earned money under guise of supplementary list or securing admission for them.
