FCT POLICE RAID KIDNAPPERS' HIDEOUT, ARREST SUSPECTS
In a concerted effort to combat criminal activities within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), police operatives from the FCT Police Command's Anti-Kidnapping Unit carried out a successful operation on 02/02/2024. Acting on credible intelligence, they apprehended several individuals suspected of involvement in kidnapping.
Among those arrested are Buhari Muhammad, aged 20, identified as a wanted kidnap kingpin, along with accomplices Muhammad Sabiu (20), Isah Abdullahi, Hamzat Musa (21), Fatima Abdullahi (22), and Zuliat Yusuf (23). The arrests were made at a hotel in Bassa Village, FCT.
This notorious kidnap syndicate was allegedly responsible for the recent abduction of Joshua Eze, husband of Blessing Eze. During the abduction, Blessing Eze sustained a bullet injury but was later rescued unharmed by police operatives on 28/01/2024.
During the raid, authorities seized an AK47 rifle, 10 mobile phones, cash amounting to three hundred and forty-five thousand naira, and various other valuables from the suspects. They have reportedly confessed to their involvement in this crime as well as other kidnapping incidents within the territory.
