HOODLUMS VANDALIZE ZAMFARA NBTI BUILDING

The National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) properties in Zamfara state, worth N1billion, have been vandalized by suspected hoodlums who invaded the building through the advantage of celebrations trailing the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the governorship election in the state.


Muhammad Jazuli, the NBTI member in charge of the northwest, made it known that the centre was established in 1999 by the federal government which encompasses all the government investment in northwest centre in the past 23years.

Nonetheless, the properties and equipment therein are also owned by private parastatals, and the entrepreneurs that came to invest of which most of them secured loans from banks to procure the equipment were vandalized alongside other valuables that were carted away.


Meanwhile, Mr. Muhammad Jazuli has called on security agencies in the state for a swift investigation of the matter and to ensure that the masterminds are brought to book.
