BENUE STATE COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH, EMMANUEL IKWULONO IS DEAD
The Benue State Commissioner of Health, Dr Emmanuel Ikwulono, is dead.
The death of the Commissioner comes amid reports that a mysterious disease has killed 17 persons in the State.
Ngunan Addingi, the Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism in the State, announced this in a statement late on Wednesday, November 11.
The cause of the Commissioner’s death was not revealed in the statement.
The Commissioner for Information noted that the State Government condoled with the Ikwulono’s family and people of the state over the sad loss.

The statement reads; “The Benue State Government wishes to announce with great sorrow the sad departure of Our beloved Dr Emmanuel Saleh Ikwulono, the Benue State Commissioner of Health and Human Services.
“Our heart goes out to the family and the entire state at this time.
“May his gentle soul rest in peace.
“Details of interments will be announced soon.”
