It was gathered that the terrorists seized a truck, an armored vehicle, two vehicles and abducted a troop who was trying to escape.
The IS-linked terrorist on Tuesday shared images of the vehicles captured during the encounter with the Nigeria Military the previous day before getting them destroyed.
The images showed a new Toyota LandCruiser gun truck and a Kia KLTV-181 tactical-utility vehicle- both newly acquired by the Nigerian government for the fight against insurgency.
In recent years, ISWAP has incessantly been attacking residents, killing and abducting commuters on the highway as well as raiding villages for food supplies.
