NSCDC ARRESTS VERSITY STUDENT OVER STABBING 17-YEAR-OLD BOY TO DEATH IN BAUCHI
A 500-level student of Veterinary Medicine of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria who allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old secondary school boy identified as Umar Usman, to death has been arrested by the operatives of Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Misau, Misau LGA, Bauchi State.
The information available indicates that the lifeless body of the victim was found wrapped in a cloth and dumped at Misau bypass which was taken to the hospital before his body was certified dead on 20th October 2023.
Subsequently, the high-powered intelligence officers investigated the matter in Misau which led to the arrest of the suspect identified as Abdullahi Ibrahim. The suspect confessed to the crime that the deceased approached him with a knife and that self-defence led to a struggle that resulted in stabbing him in the stomach.
Nonetheless, a certain communication link was traced between him and the deceased that revealed an enticement of homosexual love where the suspect showed his naked picture to the victim.
Meanwhile, the suspect will be charged in court for the crime committed.
