POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN CONNECTION WITH CULPABLE HOMICIDE AT FAS AGRO SACKS COMPANY IN KANO
In a tragic incident that unfolded on the morning of the 21st, January 2024, chaos erupted at Fas Agro Sacks Company in Sharada Ja'in Quarters, Kano, resulting in the untimely death of Tukur Adamu, a 32-year-old male employee. The turmoil escalated when thugs seized the opportunity to loot properties and attempted to set the company ablaze.
Upon receiving a distress call at 08:30 am through the Command's emergency number (08032419754), Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, swiftly ordered the deployment of Police Operatives led by Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Sharada Division, SP Abdulrahim Adamu, to the scene.
Upon arrival, the lifeless body of Tukur Adamu was rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital Kano, where a medical doctor pronounced him dead. The alleged perpetrator, James Isma'il, aged 32, was apprehended on the spot. Additionally, thirteen thugs involved in the chaos were also taken into custody.
The situation was promptly brought under control, and the suspects were transferred to the Command's Criminal Investigation Department, Homicide Section for discreet investigations.
