RESIDENTS PROTEST THE KILLING OF A BUS CONDUCTOR BY LAGOS TASKFORCE OFFICIALS IN ABULE EGBA
Residents on Wednesday, August 26, staged a protest in Abule Egba over the killing of a bus conductor by officials of the Lagos State taskforce.
Sources say the officials hit the conductor with their vehicle at Emanuel bus stop.
The protest was hijacked by hoodlums who vandalised the vehicles of road users.
Several road users also had their cars damaged while trying to avoid the commotion.
Abule Egba is calm at the moment, but multiple sources say commercial bus drivers are gathering.
It is unclear if there would be another round of protest later in the day.
