Bobrisky Hospitalized Due to Breast Complications While in Police Custody
Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been hospitalized after allegedly experiencing severe "breast" pain while in police custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.
After spending the night in a police cell, Bobrisky was transported to Falomo Police Hospital for urgent medical attention.
According to EONS TV, an FCID source confirmed that Bobrisky was taken to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance.
“Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in Falomo around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L. He wore a black gown, concealed his face with a shawl, and remained lying down in the ambulance,” the source disclosed.
The trip to the hospital was reportedly arranged to minimize public attention, especially since the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) had scheduled Bobrisky’s transfer to his unit.
To avoid media scrutiny, authorities deployed a police ambulance with an alternate plate number, LLD 339LP. However, Bobrisky’s health concerns took precedence, prompting the team to prioritize medical care at Falomo Hospital before proceeding with the SFU transfer.
The complaint of severe breast pain reportedly emerged shortly after the Commissioner of Police visited the command to oversee Bobrisky’s transfer. The incident has generated significant public interest, adding to the ongoing controversy surrounding the crossdresser's legal challenges.
On Monday, EONS TV reported Bobrisky’s arrest while allegedly attempting to escape to the Benin Republic.
