ABDUCTED KADUNA CATHOLIC PRIEST JOHN CHEITNUM FOUND DEAD
One of the two abducted priests of the Kafanchan Diocese, Very Reverend Father John Cheitnum has been killed by his abductors, his corpse was found on Tuesday, on a farm not far from where he was kidnapped, while the other, Reverend Father Donatus Cleopas has escaped from the kidnappers and has reunited with the diocese.
Rev fr Cheitnum, who was the Director of Social Communication, Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan, was kidnapped on Friday, July 15, 2022, along with Rev Fr Donatus Cleopas.
They were kidnapped shortly after they arrived at the parish rectory of Christ the King Catholic Church, Yadin Garu, in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where he went for a programme.
