BANDITS ATTACK NIGER COMMUNITIES, ABDUCT MANY IN NIGER STATE
Pandemonium as bandits launched an attack on many communities on 28th and 29th April 2023 abducting unspecified numbers of people while several others were injured in Paikoro LGA, Niger State.
The information available indicates that the gunmen attacked the villages of Essan, Koitapi, Wuda, and Loitapi shooting sporadically to disparage the villagers.
Meanwhile, the bandits operated for several hours without security challenge, carted away cattle, motorcycles, cash, destroyed houses, and rendered the residents homeless.
