BREAKING: GOVERNOR WIKE RELAXES LOCKDOWN IN SOME PARTS OF PORT HARCOURT
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has relaxed the lockdown on Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt for 6 Days from Thursday, May 21, 2020.
The lockdown will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Governor Wike made this announcement during a statewide broadcast on Wednesday, May 20.
This announcement comes three days into the ongoing total lockdown in the LGAs which resumed on Sunday, May 17.

Wike emphasized that the lockdown allows only for free human and vehicular movements. Banks, Supermarkets, shopping malls and grocery shops call open as well.
However, open markets, motor parks, hotels, bars, night clubs, and barbers shops remain shut. Public weddings, burials and other social gatherings are also prohibited.
