BREAKING: DELIVERY ON BOARD DELAYS ARRIVAL OF NIGERIAN EVACUEES FROM DUBAI

A pregnant woman who was reported to have gone on labour on board delayed the arrival of the flight, conveying Nigerian evacuees from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 


According to Port Health sources at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, a pregnant woman is among the Nigerian evacuees went into labour after the aircraft took off at Dubai Airport. 


The development caused the pilot to make a return back to the take-off aerodrome. 



The aircraft which took off about 10.00 am today was expected to arrive Lagos at 3.00 pm. 


Following the laid down plans by various agencies such as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS) and others, arrangements were already made to receive the evacuees and convey them to their various undisclosed hotels where they will be quarantined under close supervision.

With the present development, the aircraft is expected to arrive Lagos today around 8.00 pm
