COVID - 19 : Egbe Omo Ogun Rere (EOOR) Launch Awareness Campaign
As the Global fight against the COVID - 19 pandemic continues, a sociocultural group in Ogun state called the Egbe Omo Ogun Rere (EOOR) launched Awareness campaign to ensure that the residents jointly support the move to rid the state of the virus.
In its radio jingles made in Yoruba, English and Pidgin, EOOR encourages the people of Ogun State to join force with the Government at all levels in combating the plague. It highlighted the symptoms of the virus which includes dry cough, difficulty in breathing, fever and tiredness. The group advised on the regular use of hand sanitizers, Soap and water to Wash the hands. It also counseled that our Safety lies in our hands.
EOOR concludes by echoing the STAY AT HOME slogan and social distancing which it says is the key to avoiding community transmission of the disease just as the government has announced lockdown in the state starting from 11 pm Monday, 30th.
The EOOR wishes the people of Ogun State, good health as the pandemic is jointly overcomed.
