COVID-19 PATIENTS BROKE OUT OF ISOLATION CENTRE TO PROTEST ON FEDERAL HIGHWAY
Scores of COVID-19 patients today broke out of the isolation centre at the Professor Idris Mohammed Infectious disease hospital Kwadon, Gombe State to protest on the federal highway.
The protesters complained about a lack of adequate care, alleging that they have been given any medication since their confinement two weeks ago.
The Covid-19 patients who forced their way out the isolation centre, shut down the federal highway linking Gombe to Biu disrupting the flow of traffic.
