CP WALE ABASS ORDERS ARREST OF POLICE INSPECTOR INVOLVED IN EKRERHAVWE JUNCTION SHOOTING

In a shocking turn of events, a Police Inspector is under investigation for an alleged shooting incident at Ekrerhavwe Junction in Agbarho. The incident occurred on the 5th of December 2023 at approximately 1634 hours during a routine stop and search operation. The victim, identified as Lucky (surname unknown), was injured in the incident.


Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass, swiftly responded to the distressing news by ordering the immediate arrest and detention of the accused police officer. CP Abass, recognizing the severity of the matter, directed the prompt transfer of the officer to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Asaba for a thorough and expedited investigation.
