DONALD TRUMP’S REFUSAL TO CONCEDE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT- PRESIDENT-ELECT BIDEN
The United States President-elect Joe Biden has described Donald Trump’s refusal to concede the November 3 US presidential election “an embarrassment.”
Although Donald Trump has refused to recognise Joe Biden as the incoming 46th President of the United States, the president-elect has said nothing would stop the transition of power due on January 20.
Biden’s transition team has been left handicapped as the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) has said it can not engage with Biden’s team until a federal agency starts the process of transition, which the Trump administration is delaying.
On Tuesday, the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo refused to acknowledge Joe Biden as the President-elect. Instead, he said, “there will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration”.
Donald Trump’s campaign team has launched legal suits citing voter fraud and calling for allegations on claims of voter irregularities but so far, he has made no headway.
