GUNMEN KIDNAP PETROL DEALER IN EKITI
A petrol dealer identified as Alhaji Suleiman Akinbami has been kidnapped by gunmen in Ado Ekiti.
According to the victim's wife, four gunmen quietly approached Alhaji Akinbami in his filling station, ordered him to a Toyota jeep and whisked him away around 8: 30pm on Sunday night.
The Ekiti State Police Spokesperson, Sunday Abutu confirming the incident said a special team of policemen assisted by the Amotekun corp has been deployed to comb nearby forests to track the criminals and ensure the safe arrest of the victim.
Sunday Abutu stated that the Ekiti Police Commissioner, Tunde Mobayo has called for calm, while also urging residents with useful information concerning the incident to contact the nearest police station or call 08062335577.
