Gunmen Strike Again: Two Killed, One Injured in Katsina Community Raid
Armed bandits launched a deadly attack on Unguwar Dogo, a village in Kunduru District, Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing two residents and injuring another before escaping.
The assault took place on Monday, March 3, at approximately 9:30 p.m., when a large number of gunmen invaded the community and opened fire indiscriminately.
According to reports,security personnel swiftly mobilized a joint patrol team alongside local vigilantes in response to a distress call. However, by the time they arrived, the attackers had already claimed two lives and left one person injured before retreating into the forest.
The victims were transported to General Hospital, Kankia, where medical personnel confirmed the deaths, while the injured individual is currently receiving treatment.
Security forces have intensified surveillance and patrols in the area as efforts continue to track down the perpetrators and prevent further attacks.
