ISWAP AMBUSH POLICE CONVOY IN KAGA LGA, BORNO STATE
ISWAP Elements on 22nd of May, 2022 at about 0825hours laid an ambush at troops at excavation site at Goni Masari general area of Kaga LGA, Borno State.
The crossing point had communicated with the Troops in that area but unfortunately a police convoy from Damaturu ran into the ambush attack.
Troops swiftly responded and extricate the remaining police to the Defence location, at least 2 police officers were killed, two injured, 1 Hilux was burnt by the Terrorist.
Troops remain on high state of alertness.
