KIDNAPPERS DEMAND N10M RANSOM ON ABDUCTED FARMERS IN OSUN
Gunmen in Osun state abducted two farmers, identified as Samuel Oladotun, and Fashola Tobiloba, while returning from farm at Ileogbo headquarters, Ayrdire local government area of the state.
Available information indicates that the victims along with seven others conveyed in a bus were returning from farm when their vehicle came under attack along the Oke Osun Area, Ileogbo, at about 1700hrs on Wednesday 11 January 2023.
Meanwhile, six brave victims managed to escape, but two among them made it to their abductors, recaptured, and taken to undisclosed locations. Yet, a lionhearted finds his way through.
Nonetheless, the abductor who spoke in an unknown language to one of the families mentioned N10m as a ransom of the farmer's life.
The joint securities are in action, combing the bushes in the environs for their rescue.
