Lagos Confirms Temporary Market Channels Location

The Lagos State government has revealed that about 50 to 60 emergency markets in school premises that will be created and stalls allocated to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, to sell their essential goods to residents who will not be able to go to shopping malls to buy their daily needs.


According to the Governor, the state will not be on a complete lockdown but a slow down. Speaking at a virtual meeting with the Nigeria Employers Consultative Assembly (NECA) on COVID- 19 yesterday, Governor Sanwo-Olu, said all the food markets and chain stores within the state like Spa, Game, and Shoprite would remain open daily.




The Temporary Shopping Channels that have been created are as follows:


1 Bishop Aggey Primary School, Ilasamaja.

2 Ajenifuja Primary School, Ilupeju, Mushin.

3 Papa Ajao Primary School, Ladipo Street, Mushin.

4 Akin Ogun Primary School, Mosan.

5 Meiran Community Primary School, Meiran.

6 Animashaun Primary School, Ijasatedo Off Omilani street.

7 Community Grammar School, Adelabu.

8 Obele Secondary School, Lawanson.

9 Aguda Grammar School, Surulere.

10 Ikeja primary school.

11 Opebi Primary School.

12 Anglican Primary School, Marine Beach.

13 Ijora Oloye Primary School.

14 St. Jude Primary School, Ebure-Meta.

15 Fagba Junior Primary School, Iju.

16 St Gerorges Primary School, Falomo.

17 Stadium High School, Ifako.
