NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION WARNS AD-HOC STAFF APPLICANTS TO BEWARE OF IMPERSONATORS.

The National Population Commission (NPC) has warned prospective ad-hoc staff for the 2023 population and housing census to beware and be cautious of fraud from impersonators claiming to be NPC personnel.

The registration and approval to qualify as ad-hoc staff for the commission are entirely free and based on merit, and therefore, each applicant is not required to swindle their hard-earned money for the appointment.

The information available indicates that some unscrupulous individuals are using the commission (NPC) to perform illegal activities on the applicant for the ad-hoc worker.

Meanwhile, whoever has fallen victim to these fraudsters, and lost varying amounts of money is required to report to law enforcement agents for arrest and prosecution of those complicit in the offense.

However, the primary obligation of the commission is to secure its integrity and ensure that culprits imitating the commission’s name are brought to justice.
