NDLEA ARRESTS SISTERS IN POSSESSION OF ILLICIT DRUGS IN KATSINA

The operatives of NDLEA in Katsina on Tuesday 28th March 2023 paraded two sisters and the spouse of one of them for having six kilograms of Indian hemp in their possession.


Rabi Musa, with 3kg of Indian hemp was arrested following the assistance she rendered to her husband now at large to sell illicit drugs in alliance with her sister, Zainab Musa, and her husband.

Her sister, Zainab, and her husband were also apprehended for having another three kilograms of Indian hemp. Meanwhile, another two suspects were arrested through Rabi's arrest. 


Similarly, four suspected robbers driving a vehicle with expired ammunition were arrested after they robbed and snatched the car from the owner, a senior police officer at gunpoint.


Nonetheless, another three suspects, the artisans were nabbed a few days ago on the Kano-Katsina Highway. They were suspected to have stolen a car in Jos.


The suspects nabbed with illicit drugs would be prosecuted accordingly.
