ONE DEAD AS FUEL LADEN TANKER EXPLODES IN ABEOKUTA
One person has been confirmed dead as a fuel laden tanker on Tuesday exploded in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Captial.
It was gathered that the incident happened at 8.15am around the Presidential Boulevard Road, Kuto.
Sources say the 33,000 litres fuel laden tanker, which was coming from Sagamu-Oke-Mosan Road climbed the overhead bridge but suddenly lost control while descending from the bridge.
Officials of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps have arrived at the scene to control traffic and restore normalcy to the area.
