POLICE ARREST 2 DOCTORS OVER ORGAN HARVESTING IN JOS
Two medical doctors in connection with the alleged organ harvest with a suspected quack doctor, Noah Kekere have been arrested by the operatives of Plateau State Police Command.
Recall that the suspected quack doctor, Noah Kekere was recently apprehended after he was accused of harvesting a woman’s kidney during surgery.
The victim’s husband Kamal had accused Noah of removing one of his wife’s kidneys during a surgery in 2018.
According to Kamal, he noted that Noah carried out a medical diagnosis on his wife and concluded that she had ruptured appendicitis and needed urgent surgery.
However, the Plateau State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association had dissociated itself from Noah, after its investigation noting that he was not a medical doctor.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in the state would soon constitute a high-powered committee of medical experts to vastly investigate and examine the woman who claimed Kekere removed one of her vital organs during surgery, while the duo are currently in custody alongside Noah Kekere.
