POLICE ARREST SIX PERSONS OVER OFFENSES COMMITTED AT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

The operatives of Benue State Police Command arrested six persons for committing different offenses at the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections.


The information available indicates that the suspects possess nine voter's cards and illegal firearms, and they also had hands in snatching ballot boxes during the election period.

However, the necessary investigation has been completed while case diaries have been forwarded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for further action. 


Meanwhile, the crime-drunk individuals have been warned to desist from such lawlessness as the command will not admit any action that will affect a peaceful electoral process.
