POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED IPOB/ESN MEMBER IN IMO
The Imo State Police Command has arrested a suspected member of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Obumneke Gabriel, on Owerri/ Umuahia road with arms and ammunition.
The suspect was arrested in a stop and search operation by the Operation Search and Flush Operatives in collaboration with the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.
Similarly, security operatives on Tuesday killed a suspected armed robber notorious for robbing POS operators around Egbu, Owerri North Local Government Area of the State.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, gunmen beheaded a 70-year-old retired mechanic, Felix Okechukwu, popularly known as Akaonyewetere, in Okporo community, Orlu LGA of Imo State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the assailants also beheaded a palm wine tapper identified as Berechukwu Udemba.
